Age: 26 Breast Augmentation
This woman was interested in a breast enhancement. She had small breasts that were “high” on her chest. During her consultation, she tried-on implant sizers and desired a larger implant. As a general rule, larger sized implants on a high and tight breast — is the recipe for much more superior fullness and the “rounded” look because there is no “room” for the implants to go in such a limited space. She loves the superior fullness which is very apparent in her bra. This case illustrates how implant size and anatomy can produce a particular look.
Age: 42 Breast Augmentation
This woman was interested in a breast enhancement. She was self-conscious about her small breasts and her “pigeon chest” type deformity. The central part of her chest bone was very prominent and her chest sloped off dramatically. We performed a bilateral breast augmentation with 300cc silicone implants placed beneath the muscle through an incision in the breast crease. There is a dramatic improvement in the appearance of her chest deformity and she is thrilled with her results. She feels much more confident and proportional.
Age: 50 Breast Augmentation
This woman desired more breast fullness. We performed a breast augmentation with a 250cc silicone implant on the right and a 275cc silicone implant on the left. Her implants were placed beneath the muscle through an incision in the breast crease. Note the increase in fullness while maintaining a beautiful shape.
Age: 41 Breast Augmentation
This woman had small breasts that were widely separated on her chest, laterally displaced nipples and a significant gap in between. We performed a bilateral breast augmentation with 275cc silicone implants, placed under the muscle with an incision in the breast crease. She required many post-operative visits to help mold the breasts and stretch the muscle. Note the significant improvement in the spacing of her breasts and the improved positioning of her nipple-areola complexes.
Age: 42 Breast Augmentation
This is a 42 year old woman, 5’7” and 110 pounds interested in a breast enhancement. She has very small breasts with significant chest wall asymmetries that we determined when we were trying on the implant sizers (this is best way to note any chest or breast differences with the help of the sizers).
She is seen here after a bilateral breast augmentation with moderate profile silicone implants placed in the breast crease below the muscle (175cc on the left and 200cc on the right).
She is seen here after six months. I made sure to adjust her incision lower than her actual inframammary fold so that when the tissues are expanded the scar will end up in the new fold. Otherwise the incision would appear on the face of the lower breast. Even though the implants are relatively small, they fit her very well, and she enjoys a size and shape that make many of her girlfriends tell her that she made an excellent size choice.
