Male Liposuction
Age: 35 Liposuction
This is a male patient who recently lost 20 pounds. He was interested in liposuction of his abdomen and love handles. On examination, he was in relatively good shape with substantial muscle development but with a modest layer of fat about his trunk. He also had fullness in the chest area. I performed liposuction of his chest, abdomen, and love handles. You can see the considerable improvement with liposuction in these areas. Also note the fact that you can see the outline of his abdominal muscles. He has gained five pounds since his surgery and we discussed the importance of maintaining a proper weight. Liposuction is not recommended for those individuals who need to simply lose weight. In fact, performing a liposuction on someone who needs weight loss can create a future body disharmony/imbalance that can look very unnatural.
Age: 27 Liposuction
This male complained of fullness in his chest, abdomen, and love handles. We performed liposuction of these areas and (in addition) removed the tissue behind his nipple areola region. Before the procedures, his weight was 189 pounds. He is now at 175 pounds. He weighs himself daily to monitor his progress. He says it is now easier to control unhealthy eating habits. He enjoys ongoing Endermologie treatments to further maintain his improved contour.

This male patient was interested in liposuction to treat his “difficult areas.” He said his weight is currently stable, and even when he loses weight; he always has fullness around his hips and chest. His weight was 226 pounds. We determined that he would be a relatively good candidate for liposuction and that he would work hard to maintain the new physique that he’d always wanted; we performed a liposuction of his abdomen and love handles. I also suctioned his back and chest area so that his results would be uniform and proportional. These photos were taken at four months after his procedure. Now his weight is 196 pounds. He is actively working on improving his weight and exercising frequently. He had 4,450 cc of fat removed.
